That makes it ideal for the final detailing work: feathering a perimeter, softening the last hard line, or laying in gentle movement on fine hair where a heavier thinner would leave gaps.

Because each pass removes so little, the TX-20 is forgiving. You can build the effect gradually and stop exactly where the hair looks right, which is much harder to do with an aggressive cut ratio. For barbers working on finer or thinning hair, or on clients who want only a whisper of texture, this control is the whole point.
