Description

Flip a normal thinner over while blending a fade and you will spot the problem instantly: the teeth face the wrong way for half the angles you work at. Kasho’s reversed Design Master fixes that by mounting the curved teeth on the thumb blade, so the solid blade rides against the comb and the teeth meet the hair at angles a conventional thinner forces you to contort for. Because the geometry is mirrored, it also sits naturally in either hand — left-handed barbers in particular tend to adopt this model.

Choose your tooth count by job. The 15-tooth removes serious bulk and carves visible texture into crops and longer tops. The 30-tooth is the fade-blending workhorse, melting clipper demarcations and softening scissor lines without stripes. The 38-tooth is the finisher — fine blending that erases the last evidence a scissor was ever there, ideal for tight skin-fade transitions.

The hardware is classic Design Master: high-grade V10W stainless steel at 58-60 HRC, a satin finish that hides shop wear, an adjustable ratchet tension screw that holds its setting, and a camel-back offset handle with removable finger rest so you can configure the grip your hand prefers.
