The Diamond Classic set pairs a short convex cutter with a 28-tooth thinner. Both use classic handles with level rings, so the grip feels consistent when you switch from cutting to blending.
Choose a 5 or 5.5-inch cutter to suit your detail work. The 5.5-inch thinner softens weight and tidies transitions. The cutter uses vanadium steel; the thinner uses molybdenum steel.
